A trip to the Mall of America isn’t just a shopping experience...

...It’s a lesson in scale, innovation, and customer obsession.

This place isn’t a mall.
It’s a theme park with retail on the side. 🎢

Nickelodeon Universe. An aquarium. A wedding chapel. Hotels.

They built a destination, not just a store.

And that’s the business lesson that stuck with me:
Don’t just build a product. Create an experience.

In a world where you can buy anything online, why would people still show up in person?
Because Amazon can’t sell memories.

The Mall of America welcomes 40 million visitors a year.
More than Disney World. More than the Grand Canyon.

This place didn’t just evolve with the times.
It made itself unskippable.

What would it look like if our business became more like a destination?

Not just a thing people use…
…but something they remember.

P.S. the Mall of America opened on August 11, 1992
