4 years ago, he laughed at me. Told me I would fail. 👇

Took out someone I respected; that was where I wanted to be in life, to breakfast.  👇

Told him my future dreams.

He said, “I'll give you a 1% chance of success; more than likely, you’ll fail and won't make it.” 

“Being a professional speaker takes more grit than you can even imagine.”

“You’ll fail and won't make it, just like 99% of the people who try to do it.”

Soon after this meeting, I spoke with my friend, Liz, and she said, “once you’re asked to speak in the Los Angeles area, you can come visit me!” (she was dead serious, too.)

I remember laughing.

“You’re ridiculous, Liz; let's be a little realistic here.”

Fast forward to 2023, and I’ve given over 25 talks in the L.A. area alone.

Over 200 talks total since that person said my goal wouldn't happen.

For any of you who are working like crazy to bring your goals to fruition, though it's more challenging than you can anticipate right now, it's also more rewarding than you can imagine.

Also, find friends like Liz, who will encourage you to keep going!
