From a tiny stand in San Bernardino to a global icon...
While speaking at Chino Valley Ranchers in Colton, CA, I made a quick detour…
I had to stop by the original McDonald's location.
Why? Because I'm fascinated by business history.
This wasn't some flashy headquarters or billion-dollar campus; it was a simple burger stand started by two brothers with a new idea: speed and consistency.
Today, McDonald's arches are one of the most recognized symbols on Earth.
Love 'em or hate 'em, you can't deny McDonald's impact.
Every massive company, every household name, once existed only in someone's imagination.
Too often in business, we respect the billion-dollar version, but forget the scrappy version that started with nothing but grit, systems, and relentless focus.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
