He tore into me and made me feel like a complete fool.

Several years ago, I had lunch with a gentleman who had a thriving business (or so he said).

After I told him my business idea, he tore me up. “That will never work. No one will ever pay to learn how to utilize storytelling to increase their sales.”

I went home and whined to my wife about what this one guy said. “Maybe I shouldn't do this; maybe it's a stupid idea.”

My wife said, “don't let one person take away your passion to help companies succeed.”

Today, that man is out of business, and I have more clients than I ever thought possible.

Without my wife’s words of encouragement, I would have never made it this far.
