Multiple moments this year where I felt completely stuck.

Not because I didn’t have opportunities…
But because I had too many.

All good things.

But I felt like I was being pulled in 10 different directions…
…and getting nothing meaningful done.

That’s when a line from Essentialism hit me hard…

“They eventually become spread so thin that getting anything done becomes virtually impossible.”

That was me.

Not lazy.
Not undisciplined.

Just… spread too thin.

Here’s what I’m realizing:

Most of us don’t fail because we don’t do enough.

We fail because we try to do too much at once.

We say yes too quickly.
We delay saying no.
We underestimate the cost of every commitment.

And slowly…
Our focus gets diluted.

So I’m making a radical shift.

Because every yes has a cost.

If you haven’t read and applied Essentialism by Greg McKeown yet, I highly recommend you do so.
