Sex causes twice as many accidents.
Ok, now that I have your attention๐
In the U.S., there are approximately one million car accidents and 200 deaths each year because vehicles collide with deer.
During mating season, known as “the rut,” deer are twice as likely to get hit by a car.
Why is this?
During the rut, deer are more focused on sex and are less cautious. Sex makes deer take more risks and make dumber decisions.
But it's not just deer that make stupid decisions based on sexual desire; humans do, too.
This is because sex spikes dopamine in our brains.
Do you know what else spikes dopamine in your brain?
-sugar
-alcohol
-nicotine
...and, you guessed it...
...social media!
This is why so many people fall into the LinkedIn posting trap. They get a dopamine hit from posting and end up in a rut.
Just like the deer in a rut that makes stupid decisions based on sexual desire, people post random garbage to get a dopamine hit.
Stop posting like a deer in heat!
